About Dr. Volpe
Joseph S. Volpe, Ph.D., is a Clinical Psychologist, School Psychologist, ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), Board Certified Telehealth Professional, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
Dr. Volpe founded East End Psychological Services, P.C., in 2003, with offices in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. After 20 years, he transitioned from Executive Director to Consulting Psychologist. Volpe Psychological Services, P.C. was formed with the mission of providing telehealth services to people across New York State, especially in areas where few specialists, especially ADHD specialists, are practicing.
He has over twenty-five years of experience as an expert in ADHD, anxiety, traumatic stress, depression, and related conditions. He has evaluated, consulted, and treated people across the lifespan.
He holds an Adjunct Professor appointment in the Department of Counseling and Mental Health Professions at Hofstra University's School of Health Services in NY. Dr. Volpe is co-author of A Practical Guide for University Crisis Response (2004) and A Practical Guide for Crisis Response in Our Schools (Fifth Edition) (2003). Dr. Volpe is a member of the American Psychological Association and Suffolk County Psychological Association.
